As we venture out of lock down we have introduced a number of weekend morning outdoor classes- join us in the splendour of the Catacombs within Warstone  Lane Cemetery in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter district.

In addition we are still running a full online timetable where you can practise from your own home whatever the weather.

Go to our schedule page to book both our outdoor and live stream classes.

About us.

At City Yoga Birmingham Matty and his team are passionate about offering our students the very best teachings. We pride ourselves on our ethos of “ yoga for all” and welcome everyone with open arms . At our happy, friendly studio you’ll meet like minded people wanting to share in a wonderful yoga experience without the need for ego or competition. We want to share this wonderful craft and enable more people to experience the benefits of a regular yoga practice, that is why we offer an affordable monthly membership to all our  City Yoga students.

Unlimited monthly membership costs £35 with a 3 month commitment or £40 per month on a cancel anytime membership.

You can purchase a 10 class pass or pay a drop in price, if you prefer,  but we think you’ll agree that our membership is a great offer.

Don’t forget you’ll still get the same high quality yoga practice with our wonderful teachers, so even if you only attend once a week, you’ll be saving money.

Let us help you make yoga a part of your life .

Outdoor Yogis come out and play.
We may be in tier 3, but our classes in the catacombs of Warstone cemetery can resume this week. So bring your mat , your hats and scarves and enjoy yoga as it should be- in nature.

Michela will take class this week, but remember to book, keep your 2 metre distance and don’t mix before or afterwards.

( BWY- approved guidelines)

Hurray- something positive.

A collection of pics- some old and some new, reflecting journeys me, the teachers and the studio have made.

We may not have our usual JQ studio at the moment, but we’re still here for you. Zoom classes continue and our outdoor classes will return once we’re out of lockdown.

We all miss seeing you and we miss our Jewellery Quarter community , but we’ll be back in the new year

In the meantime, join us on Zoom for great teaching and virtual hugs.

Outdoor Saturday class this week -
Sun Power Flow 10-11 am with Matty

Did you know that three of our teachers, including myself, are Sun Power Yoga trained - we all learn't so much and i love how all our of teachings , differed and grew. But we always do and will keep to the same basic principle - teach, observe and allow your practice and that.of your studens to flourish
Things have changed in our lives since this video - i have two grown up kids, Anna has her gorgeous son and Jo has a baby bump.
But a basic Sun Power Flow stays the same.
